The Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department offers an Online and a classroom Food Worker Card
From a conversation with Mike Davis "This card is good anywhere in the state of Washington once it is issued. However each individual county has the jurisdiction whether or not to allow their residents to use the online class .The following counties have allowed access to the our online class by their residents: Asotin, Chelan, Clark, Douglas, Grays Harbor, Jefferson, King, Kitsap, Lewis, Mason, Pacific, Pierce, Snohomish, Skamania, Thurston, and Walla Walla. In October 2011, Island and Clallam Counties will also allow online access to the food worker card class. This is the only Online Food worker card class approved in Washington State except for Spokane County. Spokane requires you to still come to the office to test and pay for your card."
